We met these lizards at the Reptile Centre in Alice Springs, and they were very cute – such characters! They’re apparently very useful pets, as they love eating insects. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take one with me.

I’m sure they make wonderful pets, but… would you want to stroke one? no, I think I’d rather have a cat… :))
    wonderful capture!

  • Ha ha! Actually, I got to hold one, and they’ve got quite a soft underbelly. I’d love to know what our cat would make of one ;) Thanks Irene!
