I found a great little garden on campus with bird feeders in, so went in to see if I could capture some of the birds hanging around. This cute little robin appeared, and hung about for some time. He was easily recognised by the tag on his right leg :)
Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 75 – 300 mm lens, 2x Kenko extender.
beautiful capture – very sunny and cheerful! spring is in the air :) i love these birds: they are so clever and curious, not afraid of humans and would let you come very close. they are very territorial: i saw one fighting his own reflection in the side mirror of a car (OK, perhaps, not very clever!).
Thank you so much Irina! I love robins too – proper little characters :) Had to laugh about the one who fought his own reflection! Perhaps he learned something from the experience, lol :)

Oh what a most beautiful capture love the light filtering through his feathers.
One of my goals is to catch a robin photo but at the moment any bird image i would be happy with.
Thanks so much Karen! Good luck with the bird shots. I’m sure you’ll get a good one :)
