My partner’s nickname for this road on Eigg! The Isle of Eigg, doesn’t have many roads. This is the main one that connects the port at Galmiston to the village of Cleadale. It was, as you can see, a grey and rainy day. I loved how the water on the road reflected the light. If you look closely, you can see a small truck, hurtling into the distance.
Canon EOS 550D, Canon 18 – 55 mm lens. Tonemapped from a single RAW file (Photomatix Pro 4.0.2) and converted to black and white in CS5/Silver Efex Pro.

Heh. Love that superhighway and the glowing moisture on it. Appealing fog and rain and a seemingly delicate touch with Photomatix.
Thanks so much Jan! I love tonemapping, but prefer to be more subtle with it :) So pleased you like this!
