it’s too bad about the satellite dish… but, I love everything else about this… has a very nostalgic feel about it.
Thanks very much Jen! The dish is a real and tangible part of the scene…it would not be a realistic view without it :)

Ditto! Awesome perspective!
Thanks my friend! :)
Brilliant comp and perspective, so much life in this!
Thanks so much Georgie!
excepting the dish, i love it, without the dish a favorite, edit it out maybe?
well done though
Thanks very much Nick, though I am puzzled about the reaction to the dish…this is a real capture of a real scene…I have captured what is there, not a romanticized view :)
Congratulations! Ursula – I love this just as it is – it is real!
Thankyou so much Christine! And thankyou so much for the feature!! :))
sorry! did not mean to offend! it just has a very “old time” feel about it….so the dish seems a little out of place (to me). But, I loved it even with the dish and faved it as soon as I saw it… it’s a beautiful shot.
Hi Jen! That’s OK! I know you wouldn’t have faved it if you hadn’t liked it, and I do appreciate it :) Photography is very subjective of course, so it isn’t possible to please everyone. I did want to make clear that including the dish in the image isn’t a flaw in my judgement, however! Sometimes I like to include everything in my photographs, warts and all, whereas at other times I do like a more romanticised view :)
What an awesome street shot!
Thanks so much Mojca! :))
Thankyou so much dear Carlos :)
Que bonita em branco e preto!
Thanks Wayne (I think! lol)…I’d love a translation!
