There was some kind of strange double-vision effect going on with the cups on the table in this TTV shot. I still like it though :) The little girl just ran in at the last minute…

Very cool Ursula! Those cups are trippy dude! Now you are making me want to try this out :D

  • he he he! I thought it was weird that they were the only objects to be doubled! I just love the way the little girl is sitting and looking at them…you’d think she was seeing double too!

You should so give this a go Shell! There’s lots of great stuff in the TTV group, and vintage cameras are pretty good value, though getting more expensive because they’ve become more popular! So grab one quick ;)

I really like this shot. Probably my favorite of the series so far. The double vision thing makes the picture even better in my opinion. Great composition and tones. A fave in my book. :)

  • Yay! Thanks so much Larry. I’m rather fond of it myself! :))

    Wow!! – Really trippy!!
OK, so I obviously have a ton of reading up to do – so I’ll ask a newbie question – “The girl ran in at the last minute” – so it’s a long exposure? OR is that just me making things more complicated than they need to be (second time today!!)

  • ROTFL….Yes to your second question!! he he…I put in that she ran in at the last minute because one moment I was lining up the shot, and the next she’d suddenly appeared in it!

Cool technique. Know nothing about TTV and how it’s done, but this looks like ’70 shots with a wonderful atmosphere. Lovely!

  • Thanks so much Peter! You can find out more about it here. It’s pretty easy, and fun too!
