Location: Tumut, NSW, Australia. My Husband’s Great Grandparents Homestead
I wanted this one to have an "old’ feel to it, considering the home was built in the 1920’s.
abandoned, aged, australia, bricks, broken, chimney, cow, farm, fences, frost, grass, hillside, homeastead, hot, house, infrared, ir, naomi, old, roof, rundown, tank, tower, trees, tumut, used, water
awesome,,, love the tones in this,, and love the water tank,,,,, well done
Thanks. midzing. You were quick tonight…
Firstly, the composition is an absolute wonder. The placing of the farming buildings and the trees initially sets the shot perfectly.
Then we move on to those gorgeous tones, especially of the main 1920’s building – It really stands out as the main focal point of the shot.
The trees on the horizon are crisp and interesting and the IR treatment gives them that trademark NF feel.
And finally that sky – Wow – The criss crossing of clouds is topped off my the central one, which demands attention and underlines the sky
Overall – I like
Awesome Naomi love the sky and treatment!!!
Stunning work Naomi!
Well thank you, Stuart..so pleased you like it. I had to put this one up because of the sky…it certainly was amazing. Only lasted about 20mins like this and then the clouds swept in to completely blanket the sky.
Thanks also Darren and David.
this is stunning!!! brilliant shot Naomi
Awesome sky Naomi~
This is perfect, very well done.
