lovely shot so wahts the difference between the 400 and 500?
ND400 is actually 8 2/3 stops. The ND500 is a true 9 stops. ND500 allows you to reduce the shutter speed from 1/500 sec to 1 sec, which is a real 9 stops reduction of light.

yep…just a bit darker.
