Naomi, this is lovely. I love everything from the foreground plants to the beautiful form of your tree, to the watery landscape, to your amazing sky. And all these elements compose so perfectly together (forms an attractive S shape starting from the lower left to the upper center)... I think this is now my favorite from your portfolio. Hi Michelle. I took this a while ago on my old FujiFilm FinePix S7000. I use an R72 filter. It would have been a decent exposure because it was so cloudy – probably 15-20secs on that camera. ISO 200, f/8 (i think) and colours were channel swapped to get the blue sky. =-)

This is a stunner. Perfect. That striking, lone tree, the pale grasses in the foreground, the branches right in the right place against the white cloud, the dark sky above. 10 stars!! You must have been thrilled to pieces to see what you’d got.
