I have now discovered that the Canon450D will actually focus with the IR filter attached….imagine that! Comes in bloody handy!

I usually have a guess at first and make adjustments from that..if that doesn’t work I screw it off, compose and put it back on. I think I’m gonna have to buy a lottery ticket to win big so I can get a converted camera…lol

Glad to hear you have worked out how to use the 450D and wouldn’t we all like to own a converted camera! Actually, I would just like to be able to get an IR photo half as good as this… or any IR photos, thinking about it!

No doubt there will be a comment on this page on how you’ve carefully given a deep rich glow to the water. Someone probably already mentioning how the rocks add a wonderfully composed highlight by their solidity amongst the surrounding flows. A comment amongst all the others on how this is a turquoise paradise.
