Run Home Slow
I went out today to get some shots and ended up walking up this rather steep sand hill (I could get fit if I keep this up). On the way back to the car I dropped my shutter release, but after backtracking for a while I finally found it. Thankfully, I didn’t have to climb this hill again to search for it.!!!
And to top that off, I almost sank in mud and nearly lost a shoe at another location…but that story is for another photo….

velveteagle
Naomi great story.. The capture is grand.. Had me fooled.. this capture can be viewed as looking down the hill or up.. hard for me to tell which is which.. Love It…
Naomi Frost
Thanks, dave.
I don’t often get out by myself. I usually have the kids tagging along so it was nice to be alone.
Naomi Frost
Thanks velveteagle. You’re right – it could be looking up. I hadn’t realised that. Thanks for pointing that out. Cool.
Paul Tupman

I love Frank Zappa….......the colouring of some of my IR images was inspired by the cover of “Hot Rats”. I like the colours and tones here Naomi. The composition is good too. This is where we suffer as bridge camera users. Mine starts at 28mm…....the ability to fit a lense that started at 10 or 18mm would have let you get in more of the sky then this would have been awesome instead of superb! Anyway…..hope my supper isn’y somethered in “lumpy gravy”. have a good day/night
Deborah Parkin
i don’t know how many times i can say it Naomi but ‘love it’ lol!!! I can never imagine these images to be hot – they always have this Narnia feel to me – something so escapist and pure – oops i am going to say it again – i love it.
Naomi Frost
Thanks so much, Paul.

Maybe when I sell heaps on RB I can buy a DSLR !!! At the moment all i can do is change filters… but i’m still having fun with my old FujiFilm.
By the way…..
Don’t get any of that gravy on those peaches en regalia !
Naomi Frost
I’m so pleased that you love these B&W images, Deborah.
Every time I put up a new image, the first thing I do the next morning is check to see your comments. I usually know if I’m on the right track if you comment and add it to your favourites. Thanks so much for all of your encouraging words and inspiration.
