Pose and the face perfect. The wall and corner area are also interesting.

Interesting shot Naomi.. I could definately see this kind of thing being used in an editorial, perhaps with overlays of text being used across the brick work. I like how you have divided the shot with the strong vertical lines dividing the landscape format and as I said this would work well in an editorial. On its own, I would have maybe cropped a bit more of the brickwork, perhaps at the vertical joint in the bricks at the top just to give that little bit more emphasis on the model. All in all, a great concept and very well executed.

fantastic…i was all ready to give you my opinions…but nope dont have anything to say apart from perfect composition!! i love the brick wall, the fact it takes up a third of this shot is so effective, if i where to use this shot, say in a catalog or stock, i would crop the wall on the right maybe an inch, but as it stands it makes great concept photography and i wouldnt change a thing!!

i agree with the cropping of the wall, also i’d probably try with a bit of brightening, just so that the wall isn’t so dark and the models face is a tad easier to see (her eyes, i think, need to be more distinct). The right wall, to me, overpowers the rest of the shot. when britening one would still like to keep the effect of the light lighting the blank wall.
my personal arrangement of this photo is to get rid of the right hand side of the image and go square format so that i only have the blank wall and not the drain/downpipe and brickwall – but that’s just me. i like my images, particularly of people, to have one element of attention, the main subject and nothing competing with it as the right side of this image does. but as i said – that’s just me !:)

Great angle and composition naomi…Am very interested in this piece because I do not know which is the main subject..great piece

love the angle!! though i think the wall almost took the attention away from the model.. if only it’s a tad bit softer.. but that’s just my pov.
i love the overall piece (i especially love the lamp.. not sure why.. n_n”)!! =D

Excellent work.

I agree with others re the cropping – but it would not be AS necessary if there was an inanimate form rather than a model. Cropping just right of the white line as suggested above would really tighten up the compositional integrity and avoid leading one’s eye out of the pic and away from the subject. She’s insisting on our attention – with improved cropping she’d get it.
