Very nice Naomi. Wonderful cascade and you’ve managed the exposure very well to keep the water from blowing out.

This is superb Naomi. The varying cascades draw the eye in all over the shot and the hits of white on the floor are great. The lush greens are complimented well against those light browns and the tight crop really draws in well.

I used 2 ND filters on this one – an ND4 and an ND8 because my camera only goes to f/8…hopefully I won’t have to worry soon – the Canon450D is out and I’m planning on purchasing one soon – yippee – my first DSLR =+)

Hi Mark,
Always use a tripod and know your camera settings…..that’s the best advice I think. I also took a variety of exposures to make sure I didn’t blow out the water. Just experiment – I guess that’s the beauty of digital.
For this shot I used 2 ND filters (4 & 8), f/8 (that’s all my camera goes up to) and an exposure of 3 seconds.

thanks Naomi, experimentation, trial and error are both right up my street, takes the fun out of it when you really know what your doing..! lol
