INRI - Inspired by Easter
INRI is an abbreviation of the Latin “IESVS·NAZARENVS·REX·IVDÆORVM” (Jesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum), which translates to “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.” It is often seen on images of the cross, which is the centrepoint of Christian beliefs.
You can learn more about “INRI” and its place in the Bible at the Crosswalk Online Bible. Either follow this link or search the Online Study Bible for John, Chapter 19.
The original design was drawn in fineliner pen on paper, scanned and made into a t-shirt template.
April 11 and 12, 2009.
It is also available as a greeting card and art print.

thank you! yes, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out but I’m happy with the result. My husband gets the credit for helping me put my designs onto t-shirt templates!
