Mersea Island, the most Easterly populated island in the UK, may not be renowned as a photogenic location, but, standing here at East Mersea, with the gently flowing seawater lapping against the tops of the wellies, with the line of posts so obligingly composed, and with the glorious colours spreading across the late afternoon sky, it was possible for a moment or two to believe that this was the most beautiful place on Earth.
I’ve been to Mersea Island, Ian (when I lived in Essex) and you have made it out to be so beautiful here. Love the lighting, mood, colours, comp and peace in this shot. Well done. An instant fav. Love your work. Cheers Elana.

beautiful shot!!! did you use a neutral density filter? what time was it?… love the softness of the water
Thanks, Rhonda and Gompo.
No ND filters used, Gompo. This was taken a little time after the sun had set. Thanks, again, for your kind comment.
