The Dream Of My Song

Who will dance for me now,

Who will feel my tears,

How will my tender caress

Smooth away the fears?

When the bright dawn has burst forth

How can I let you know

I still feel the magnificence

Of each radiating glow?

As the days grow into years,

And the time becomes before,

I’ll reach into your mirrored mind

To feel your inner core.

You’ll see the shimmered sunset

On a frozen lake beyond,

You’ll smell the sweet wet forest

And enter the dream of my song.

My wings upon your cheek

As I flow above the day,

And what lay below the soil

Will never taste the clay.

But,

Who will dance for me now,

Who will feel my tears,

How will my tender caress

Smooth away the fears?

When the bright dawn has burst forth

How can I let you know

I still feel the magnificence

Of each radiating glow?

Artist's Description

I learned this evening that my former Mother-In-Law passed on October 25th, my middle child’s twenty-fifth birthday.

These words are dedicated to her.

I hope you passed quickly and safely……

Hugs and Kisses…..
