Time for Reflection
It’s always a season for reflection. Pools of still water, polished metal, and drops of water all contain a view of who and what we are. Missing is the who we were. The ghostly images never remembered in reflections that only know now.
Life has a way of forgetting yesterday while it play in the moment we call now. Yet we still recall the times of then upon which we can reflect from within.

A Lump Of Coal For Yule
Each one of our grown children are receiving as one of their gifts a lump of coal for Yule. But this is not any ordinary lump of coal. It has been carefully mined from the depths of the Earth in Scotland, and carved with love by retired Scottish coal miners. The carvings are of Owls, those wise old creatures, who in mythology hold a special place as Augers of the future.
