Artist's Description

Taken January 10, 2010 at Blue Springs State Park, Volusia County, FL. Blue Spring State Park covers more than 2,600 acres, including the largest spring on the St. Johns River. Blue Spring is a designated Manatee Refuge and the winter home to a growing population of West Indian Manatees. This day the were over 300 manatees in the springs and I had the good fortunate to see the researchers at work.
