WELCOME TO JACK FLEMING PHOTOGRAPHY!
Los Angeles based photographer and artist, Jack Fleming found his passion in the art of photography at age 5 with a 1938 Brownie Camera his Mother had as a child. His Father lended him his 35mm SLR in Junior High Yearbook and from there, Fleming’s first 3 photographs were published at age 12.
STYLE AND INFLUENCE
His style focuses on a theme of bright vivid colors, geometric shapes/angles, and subtle textures in an attempt to make every image eye catching, sexy, and classy regardless of the subject matter. His influences come from such artists as James Rosenquist, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Claude Monet, and photographers Anton Corbijn, Michael Vincent, Walter Ioos Jr, Arny Freytag, and Helmet Newton.
CORPORATE BACKGROUND
Fleming also works corporately in the Licensing division for ACI international, otherwise known as LA Gear doing product development. His accounts include Mattel (Hot Wheels), Nickelodeon (Dora The Explorer, Spongebob Squarepants), Dreamworks (Shrek, Bee Movie, Kung Foo Panda), Warner Bros (Batman, Superman, Supergirl, Scooby Doo), NASCAR, and “Leap Frog” products.
EDUCATION
Fleming holds two Bachelors degrees in Advertising and Graphic Design with concentrations in Theatrical Lighting/Set design as well as Oil Painting from the University of Evansville (IN). Fleming also spent time abroad at Harlaxton College (Grantham, England) which has been the film location for more than a half dozen feature films including most recently, in 1999 “The Haunting of Hill House.”
BACKGROUND
Fleming grew up in the small college town of Granville, Ohio about 30 miles East of Columbus. After 8 years in Evansville, Indiana, Fleming moved to Venice Beach, CA and has resided in Venice and now Eagle Rock for the past 12 years.

Fleming’s influences also carry over from experiences while traveling throughout most of the United States, Canada, Europe, and the former Soviet Union.
2009
Currently, Fleming works out of his 2600 sq ft studio in the L.A. suburb community of Eagle Rock, minutes from downtown L.A., Burbank, Pasadena, and Hollywood. It’s very common to see Fleming shooting for major promoters at night clubs, celebrity events, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, for magazines, personal clients, as well as on the beach in Malibu, or anywhere he finds an interesting background. “I’m NOT paparazzi,” Jack says. “I am hired privately to work INSIDE the event.” His work has engulfed the likes of Christina Aguilera, ICE T, SBE/Bolthouse Productions, National Geographic Society/Line Jumper Talents, among other entities.

RELATED
Jack was also named as LAJCC Media Relations Committee Chairman for the 2009 PGA Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, CA February 14-20th. His role is to see that all things media and player related, go as planned to cover the PGA tournament while in town. Jack has been involved with the tournament (both Nissan Open and Northern Trust Open) every year for the past 8 years including 3 years as Media Relations Chairman, and 1 year as Media Relations Vice Chairman.
