Most people describe dreams as goals or the result of their sleeping period
And they fail to realize they are the result of our desires and actual experience
To get what we want we must apply ourselves and stay serious
Keep your head in the game though some may try you to discourage and make you furious

Everyone wants money, many want fame, but few seem to want deliverance
It seems we’ve forgotten where we came from or have we grown delerious
As we slip into nightmares it seems no one cares and they’ve found true bliss
As they close their eyes to the harsh realities they pucker their lips and accept the devil’s kiss

Turning their backs on the goals of our founding fathers and reverting back to ignorance
Tearing down our fellow man instead of acting in commemorance
What happened to the dream of doctor Martin Luther King
It seems either we have forgotten or we haven’t learned anything
