Tam, I selected a ‘vapour trail’ shaped area behind his head, feathered it by about 200 then used a great plugin called Flaming Pear’s Swerve, which does all the warping. I then selected over the last third of the warped area (towards the far left), feathered it by about 200 again and then used Ps’s ‘Plastic Wrap” filter.

    Cheers

    Truly Awesome Flamejob, love it!

I thought it looked like a Photoshop liquify, I’m only just starting out and thanks to Mel, I am slowly learning the many facets of PS CS3… I think what I need is a few years worth of practice and going support!

Where can I find the Vapor trail in PS CS3?

Terrific image. This really works. The viewer’s eyes are drawn out of the image which usually distracts but this one is outstanding. Fantastic composition.
