No more Sales - In Support of Helen Bascom
Effective today I am pulling my art from “sale” at RB.. Yes I might not have made enough to cruise the Riviera, in fact I bought a Hell of a Lot of stuff and sold stuff all!! However….. Helen Bascom was unfairly dismissed – And in my show of solidarity – I am removing my work for sale. All we want is a show of fairness and fairplay here RB…
Again, thankyou for your support, if you do not support my views, then that is okay, I respect that. ( In true Helen Style)!!

Hey Kelly if I was able to afford a huge big print I would contact you direct and ask you to supply that way. It’s not as difficult as it seems and there are plenty of outlets available who can at prices I am certain will be more than competitive to RB’s….to be honest if more people had a concern about morality they would urge RB admin to reconsider all the facts and do the right thing and re-instate Helen Bascom. Maybe a Do the Right Thing campaign of turning off sales, not uploading new works or other direct action which could gather support over a period.

Its a tough one John, dont want to start a lynch mob or anything – this is my way of quietly protesting you could say… I am afterall a pacifist – and dont like confrontation much… But when i do see a wrong – i will try and fix it :)

Just hang in there a bit more Kelly – I know it’s hard – but – well – I’ve been figuring on ways to create ‘protest works’ that are not Tees….. even though that is the only format some ‘words’ seem to be acceptable – there ARE other protest symbols around…

I too would remove my items Kelly..but I seldom make sales and RB bled me dry anyway..so this wouldn’t make an impact to your cause..I admire you greatly and Helen has 110% of my support.!

Things are being worked on towards resolution behind the scenes, a brief public statement to put everyone at ease wouldn’t be a bad idea, I understand everyone’s feeling hurt and really emotional over things right now, but just hang in there and give it a little time…

I believe so Jennifer – and agree – the latest forum is a step in the right direction -depending on the outcome at least. All we want is a FAIR go – for all.. not just some :)
