SO, I check my email, ok cool I sold another button on zazzle. I go to look at my button on my zazzle only to see in the links section MY DESIGN on someones else shirt.
Even the title has been ganked and sprawled across it! I think that it was probably taken from my DA account … that image was featured in a news article over there without a watermark anyhow…
I’m rotted. And you guys should probably take a look and see if there is anything else that LOOKS FAMILIAR to you over on said sketchy zazzle page I’ve already reported it as a copyright violation, but feel free to also click the button, I’m sure the more complaints the quicker it will be taken down.
Oh yeah and it was this design:
and you can even see part of the blueish background that hasn’t been erased on theirs.
Damn internet, I thought you were safe like as having unprotected sex with a “streetwalker”…oh wait.

What a shitter.
That happened to bunch of us a little while back, the guy had simply taken the large previews straight of redbubble and uploaded them on t-shirts on zazzle, he claimed that a friend had given them to him.
Report it to zazzle and it should be dealt with reasonably quickly.

You know, every time I think of starting up a zazzle account, I see crap like this happen, and it makes me very wary of the whole thing. Obviously anybody could come here to swipe stuff, but I guess that the thieves behind this sort of thing aren’t above trawling the same site that they inhabit.

Yep, I understand. Zazzle is ok and all, but it does seem to have a lot more junk then rb. There are a lot of good people on there too and fellow RBers and the like, but there are also a lot of people who seem to be simply snagging images and calling them their own.
On the plus side my work has been removed from that persons gallery.

It’s down now! So I’m pretty pleased that they dealt with fairly fast. I’ll be keeping an eye out for other artists work that I know.
It’s a shameful risk, the ability to share your creative works with the world at cost of being horrible ripped off. I’ll take my chances but from now on I think I’m going to at least watermark my work.

Thanks for reporting it! It’s gone now. Good to know the people at zazzle will deal with an issue like this fairly speedy fashion.
Yeah, didn’t recognize any of the other work, but often if they stole one image, it’s not out of the question for the whole gallery to consists of work they gaft. I’ve seen it before. It was very disturbing.

Really though! I was surprised to see it since the image they took was way too small to go on a tee. I guess if you’re already low enough to steal an image from a “small time” artist, you don’t care about quality.
Thankfully, Zazzle dealt with it pretty quickly without any hassle.
