Pre race warm- up for the national Championships. The Penny-farthing Championships are held every year in Tasmania in the delightful village of Evandale. This was a pre race- warm up for the ‘Slow race’ the winner being the person still on the bike at the finish line. All credit to the race caller who managed to keep up a fabulous commentary during a race in which very little happened.

Endlessly fascinated by light.. . . .open to any suggestions for improvement to my work from fellow RBs

Nice study and angle. Love the silhouette and strong backlighting picking up all the coarse road stones.

    Excellent B&W work !

  • Thank you Jean Luc for your encouragement of my work : ) This is actually shot in colour but the light is so harsh in Tasmania that often it light splits into colourless regions of light and shadow : ) : ) Cecily
