Out of the Sunrise he came.... by

I’m now trying to learn photoshop CS5.

Some how imagination plays a major role in using this program.. Layering is an art.. So, here is my first real stab, at creating, with images I own.. As always, any help will be greatly appreciated..
The sunrise was taken off my balcony, looking east over Toronto; the planes were taken at the Oshkosh Wisc. Air show Aug. 2010.. Some tweaking to place the planes..
Again a sore arm from the hrs., spent trying to put this image together, well worth the time and a learning curve was attained… I like the result, hope you all do…

I have had a life long interest in Photography, shooting anything that moves me… as well as interests in spirituality, new to writing, the internet, and sharing my love of beauty, as I see it. I’ve owned Pentax cameras since 1969, a die hard Pentax believer!
I moved to new digs, 29 Dec 2011 Maple, Ontario; the basement of a house, can’t get any lower..a far cry from my lofty 22nd floor apt., of a few years ago!

A magnificently incredible capture drawing me so into ‘the moment’ Larry ………….glorious colouring ,pristine clarity , an immediate favourite !

  • Thankyou so much. Glad you liked it. I must admit I’ve using a tutorial, to learn this layering stuff. Confusing for an old guy! But, I did like the outcome…

Now that’s an excellent result! I’d say you’re mastering CS5 pretty damn well. Just keep right on going!

  • Thanks David, glad you dropped by; the erasing part, can get a bit tricky~ to marry the two layers, so they flow.. I’m going to try a few more with the same basics, to get the hang of it, before I start to run into the advanced stuff…..

Layers are still smoke and mirrors to me Larry. Well done on your 1st try.

  • I know exactly what you mean. I had to grab the bull by the horns to settle down and tackle this program…since I’ve had it 5 months now…
