I am a life long farmboy living along Route 66 in the Missouri Ozarks. I retired after 30 years of owning businesses in the hunting & fishing field. I now raise quail for the hunting industry on my farm. As a hobby I photograph the ‘Forgotten Past Along Route 66’ and anything else that I like. These photos are of the old farms, rivers, buildings, etc. that was a such vital part of the young Route 66 highway. Most of these landmarks are now forgotten and rotting away. This saddens me as I remember them as being at the core of our daily lives. I travel the road daily and have enjoyed the road since 1953. I’ve had a birds eye view of the lifespan of the ‘Mother Road’ and want to share it with you.
