Hello, I’m FireLily, aka Allyssa L. Edwards. I’m a 30 year old eclectic artist from Revere, Mass, USA. I love to try a little of many different mediums, as I enjoy a variety, and never know what I may be good at. :) My primary works presently are in Photography and Fractals, but expect an array. I also do a fair bit of writing, which I’m not as confident in I suppose.

I live yards from Revere Beach, a historic spot, being “America’s First Public Beach”. I spent much time down there photographing the waves, and seagulls, and sunrises.

I am agoraphobic and suffer from severe depression and anxiety/panic disorders, as well as a decent case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. So, let’s same I’m “quirky” ;)

Given my condition, which is improving, I don’t often leave home for nonessential things, and when I do, it’s typically within my comfort zone. My photography, though, has actually helped me get out more. The NEED to take more pictures actually gets me out of the house, for which I am quite thankful.

I also have very low self esteem and am unsure of myself on many things. BUT, that does not change how I feel about constructive criticism. I desire it. I like to be given suggestions of ways I can improve my works. I’ve never really understood people who didn’t strive to improve. Anyways, please feel free to give me CC, you don ‘t need my permission, as long as it is constructive, and done tastefully. There’s no need for rudeness and the like. :)
