Born just outside the city of Sydney, Graham grew up surrounded by local bushland and not too far away from the nearby Blue Mountains.

Graham’s earliest works used the medium of oil to paint the environment and wildlife native to Australia. His creativity then progressed toward abstract art using pencil, crayon, charcoal, acrylic, and at times combining organic material such as burnt herbs and wood ash.
