Anyone remember MASH? This is my take on the Bell 47 helicopter :D
My biggest painting so far. He’s going up to Sydney for ‘22’ – a group show of female artists at the National Grid in Brookvale. Show opens on the 18th of June and I’ll be going up for it…do come along if you’re in the area!
Watercolour, ink and pastel on canvas. Some little stencils too.

The them song to MASH actually had words to it. It was called ‘Suicide is Painless’.

Thanks! I really can’t imagine it with lyrics…I remember it was the show on just before tea time when I was a kid. And Hawkeye looked a bit like my dad in the 70s :)

And its all analog too, I love that, he must be spectacular in person. i could go on about it all night about the technical skill but I have to go to sleep, its been a long day
Haha, cheers. It looks crappy all small like that. It’s over 80cm wide (which is humongous for me)…so I put detail images on the side there.
