Very excited to be bringing my beasts back to No Vacancy’s Fed Square space, the site of my 2011 solo show Exoskeletons….this time for a group show ‘Exquisite Corpse’ with Kim Garratt and Georgia Matthey.

Named after the surrealist drawing game, this show opens on Wednesday the 29th. I’ll have paintings, metalworks, prints and badges up on display.

Come along!

Sorry for the mass upload...

I enjoyed working on the origami paper so much for this show, that I was happy for the opportunity to do it again. Using patterned and rice papers, I’ve created some more beasts…some sneak peaks:

More samurai and Japanese themed beasts!

This was a fun project and I’m looking forward to seeing it up on the wall this Friday. After that…getting ready f

Fans For Japan, Caps for Kids

Hi all, a couple of awesome charity events coming up…the first is tomorrow night (Thursday May 5th) at Espionage Gallery in Adelaide.
From their website:…

Espionage Gallery in collaboration with That Fresh have joined forces to help the people of the Tohoku region of Japan in the wake of the recent Disasters which have befallen Japan. In an effort to raise money in help of support for disaster relief, Espionage Gallery and That Fresh purchased 50 blank Japanese Uchiwa Traditional fans and gave them out to 50 artists from across Australia and New Zealand.

These 50 fans were painted… or decorated by some of Australia’s leading artists in an effort to help raise funds. The fans will be for sale for 1 week at Espionage Gallery for the set price of $60 per fan. 100% of the funds raised from the

For flood – quake – art sake – donate!

My lovely agency is hosting an ebay auction of artwork to raise money for the Red Cross.…

“With so many terrible natural disasters happening world wide, it’s hard to pick just one to support!
So it is with overwhelming empathy that Just Another Agency has brought together a generous group of artists from a diverse range of mediums and styles to donate some artwork in hopes to raise money for the Red Cross.

All proceeds will be donated directly to the Red Cross, who have their “hand on the pulse” and can distribute the funds where they are needed most.

We have also donated pieces from our personal collection for the cause, acknowledging those who have lost everything… and now less fortunate than ourselves.”

I’ve donated a few originals and a print…head to their ebay store to see what else y

Brand new, Japanese themed beasties!

Hi all, missed me??

I’ve been super busy, working on a themed collection of drawn works on paper for this Friday’s exhibition at Brunswick Street Gallery: ‘Drawn’.
Here are a few sneak peaks:

Bit of a new technique using patterned origami and rice papers and some creative masking :)

Some more works and information I’ve uploaded to my blog, have a look here.

Here’s the flyer:

See you there!

PS: I’m no longer uploading new works to Red Bubble, until they fix the horror that is their default system of ordering works in our galleries by popularity (seethes). All the new work is on my blog or my brand new website.
