Beasts running rampant
Hi all…have been fiendishly busy the last few months, I promise I’ll check everyone’s new art out soon.
In the meantime, lots happening.
Firstly: Gallery 696 in Brunswick is having a birthday show tomorrow night (April 1st) from 6-9pm.
Lots of us have painted a greyscale piece to match the new graf wall art, and some matchboxes – yep, painting on matchboxes. Here’s a sneak peek of mine:

Secondly: I’m in Curvy!!
Curvy is a yearly compilation of female artists and designers from around the world – produced by YEN magazine.
I’m pleased to be a featured artist in it with an interview, and there’s a launch happening in Sydney this thursday night (April 2nd) at Mori Gallery from 8-11pm, 168 Day street. I have three pieces in this show, looks like a doozy.

Thirdly: Gallery 696 are having a ladies show, April 8th – 15th. I’m putting 3 pieces in this one.

Fourthly.....sigh…...........Art Melbourne!
April 16-19, at the Exhibition Centre.
I’m putting 14 pieces into the the Brunswick Street Gallery Stand.
It was a really cool and inspiring event last year, well worth coming by and seeing the awesome work from all over Australia. Site is here

Eek..missed this comment! I think the sydney one is still going, the melbourne ones have finished except for Art Melbourne which opens tomorrow xx

Well done Kaitlin! I’m sorry I’ll miss the first exhibition but I can make the second one as I’ll be in Melbourne then – my bunnies are invading BSG! And I’m volunteering to help at the Art Fair on VIP night so I’ll see your artwork there – and maybe you as well?
You’re a diver? I’ve just caught the bug myself. I saw a Blue Devil at the weekend and am feeling very chuffed.

yep i went on saturday, it was supposed to be open but no one had turned up from curvy (must have been a big party)... so i had to talk the gallery owner into letting us in :P
