Post Apocalypse!

Very excited to start spreading the word about an upcoming show I’m doing with Aramas Apocalypse!

The dark, crumbling and industrial walls of Rancho Notorious combine with a shared love of post-apocalyptic and dystopian fiction and popular culture, so we’re getting together to indulge our fondness for ruins, shadows, gas masks and non-human narratives.

A journey into the post apocalypse of an alternate area…an anachronistic projection to a post human destruction. What would happen if the human world suddenly ended in the 30′s? How would the world look now, would anything survive? Post Apocalypse is an exploration of that question. Humans are gone, destroyed by nuclear or biological hubris. The world that’s left is smoky and ruinous. This is an alternate future containing creatures evolvi…

Fans For Japan, Caps for Kids

Hi all, a couple of awesome charity events coming up…the first is tomorrow night (Thursday May 5th) at Espionage Gallery in Adelaide.
From their website:

Espionage Gallery in collaboration with That Fresh have joined forces to help the people of the Tohoku region of Japan in the wake of the recent Disasters which have befallen Japan. In an effort to raise money in help of support for disaster relief, Espionage Gallery and That Fresh purchased 50 blank Japanese Uchiwa Traditional fans and gave them out to 50 artists from across Australia and New Zealand.

These 50 fans were painted… or decorated by some of Australia’s leading artists in an effort to help raise funds. The fans will be for sale for 1 week at Espionage Gallery for the set price of $60 per fan. 100% of the funds raised fro

For flood – quake – art sake – donate!

My lovely agency is hosting an ebay auction of artwork to raise money for the Red Cross.

“With so many terrible natural disasters happening world wide, it’s hard to pick just one to support!
So it is with overwhelming empathy that Just Another Agency has brought together a generous group of artists from a diverse range of mediums and styles to donate some artwork in hopes to raise money for the Red Cross.

All proceeds will be donated directly to the Red Cross, who have their “hand on the pulse” and can distribute the funds where they are needed most.

We have also donated pieces from our personal collection for the cause, acknowledging those who have lost everything… and now less fortunate than ourselves.”

I’ve donated a few originals and a print…head to their ebay store to see what else y…
