Hehe, I do know that :) I looked at a few photos of octopusses (I don’t like the word octopi – sounds like a pie with an octopus in it!) including yours while I was drawing it.

So I found out…I had to google it! Apparently octopi is correct latin but octopuses is more commonly used and considered correct. They are super intelligent aren’t they…I’ve been looking at pictures and reading about them as I’m doing a bit of a series.

I beg the pardons of those of you not English – apparently other dictionaries do allow octopi as a plural, in spite of the word being of Greek origin not Latin!:)
