Thanks everyone for the nice feedback. I nearly poked a hole through it at one point, so I wouldn’t have to make a decision on whether to finish it! Glad I didn’t wreck it now :)

‘I’ll get back to you, I’m all tied up at the moment’. I always like your dragons – they look less threatening than the real ones (like my mother-in-law). Looks like he’s headed for the barbecue; does he supply his own fire?

I wrote my grandchildren a story that began with an egg I found on the bank of the creek across the street. I used to be a wildlife rehabilitator, so it grew from there. The egg, incidentally, was very hard, smaller than a robin’s egg, and white. I have no idea what it is, or even if it’s stone. A real mystery. Anyway, a dragon hatches, and eventually returns to the swamp.

Needless to say, your wonderful drawings of dragons are very special to me. I’m so happy to be able to see your artwork.
