Heron

It’s been a little while between uploads!

Here’s a new thing I’ve been doing (as well planning the imminent beakface world takeover).

This bird is 25cmx20cm framed, various papers with cellophane, cotton, watercolour, graphic pen and metal leaf on metallic paper and cardboard mat.

A fish for meeeee so juicy sweeeeeet…

Actually that image is pretty much exactly what my business card looks like! Hehe.

I’m hoping to have a few pieces (that the gallery likes!) sent over there soon, as it looks like a cool space to show in. Fingers crossed!

Dear Imminent Leader of the Beak Faced Army, May I compliment you on your superb imagination. I have photographed a heron before, but never actually saw it as you do. I would love to read an account of the imaginative inner journey you took to reach this image … you are truly in a class of your own and if ever you get your images published in affordable book form do let me know.

If you’d photographed a heron like this, I’d be concerned for little Mao! ;D

  • BLYTHART

    BLYTHART, about 1 month ago

Any heron that crossed Mao’s path would probably end up with see-through ribs like this one :)) He brings dismemebred birds home as (unwanted) gifts for us.
