Of what the Reverends spoke

The reverends spoke like men persuaded
Without distress, with childish faith.
And they asked me to see it as a part
Of something larger than his life.

Still I thought I’d known better;
And yet a part of his life-filled soul
Is mirrored in every teary eye, and
Tarries longer than this doubt of mine.

    Regardless of what the “word” is, the speaker can instill in the listener meaning. Moving beyond direct hatred into jaded face value is an important step towards tolerance, though I know you still have to turn from certain oppositional figures.

    Talking to you and reviewing is hard. Forgive me.
