Oil on canvas, 2006, image of a frog escaping the Black Pacific Duck in the kitchen sink. Duck features in another painting of the same series of work. ( for sale)
This is gorgeous Fiona. You’re very talented. Has this been inspired by life or your imagination?
Thanks, it was originally inspired by a story a friend tells about the green tree frogs in Cooktown FNQ, hanging out in the kettle and the toilet. From there I imagined a local frog escaping the duck (another painting) in my kitchen. So to summarise I suppose it’s a litte of both!
