I am an artist and art teacher living in Sydney, Australia. I work in oils, acrylics, pastels and mixed media. I mainly paint and draw portraits and people. My influences are Japanese and Chinese Art, Flemish Renaissance artists, Matisse, 19th century Symbolist painting, Art Decor, Lucien Freud, African Art, John Singer Sargeant, Degas and Persian minatures.
I also love photography including Henri Bresson, Man Ray and the Senegalese woman photographer Mama Casset.
