I miss my studio!

Posted 2 months ago

Hi Bubblers!

I’m sorry I’ve been absent from the Bubble for so long. We relocated to Queensland over the Christmas holidays which was a draining and difficult process. We’re staying with family until we build or buy a new house and until that time, my studio and all of my materials are packed away in a storage facility somewhere.

Both of my kids are now at school (yay!!!) and I&…

The joys of moving...

Posted over 1 year ago

My apologies for being a bit quiet on the Bubble of late. My family and I are in the process of relocating from Brisbane to Melbourne (Australia) and, as you can imagine, it’s a fairly hectic time.

As my husband is in sales, we tend to move alot. And by ‘alot’ I really do mean “ALOT”! This is actually our 6th interstate move and 18th house move in less than 10 years.…

Thailand.... ahhhhh...

Posted almost 2 years ago

Greetings from beautiful Thailand! I am currently enjoying the first week of a three week trip. At the moment we’re in busy and bustling Patong Beach, Phuket. It’s extremely hot here but the weather has been perfect for swimming or relaxing by the beach or pool. My children are in heaven – unlimited access to a beautiful warm pool!
Anyway, thanks everyone for your lovely comments…

I'm going to be an 'Artist in Residence'

Posted about 2 years ago

Well, that actually sounds quite a bit more exciting than it really is but it’s true, I have been invited to be an Artist in Residence…. by my son’s school.

I will be working with every four to five year old Prep student (all 87 of them) over the course of several weeks helping them to create their very own self portraits. These will be displayed at the school’s annual art…

Mojo returning - Woo Hoo!

Posted over 2 years ago

Well, after a terrible week last week when I lost my artistic mojo (I thought it had left me forever), it would appear things are starting to turn around again.

I’ve been feeling the love on Red Bubble. Firstly, thanks everyone for your kind comments and feedback about my lack of mojo. It was really helpful. Secondly, my work is being well received at the moment and, finally, I have won thr…
