Morning and evening bid adieu
Time alone the day shall rue
Close thine eyes in search of bliss
As night bows down, the earth to kiss
Eternal slumbers thy brow shall grace
As thou rests lovely in thy place
And morn does mourn as it returns
The dance of life it has learned
