I looked up at the clock. The second hand seemed to be mocking me, it was going so slow. One minute passed, then the next, and finally it was five thirty. I waited an extra painstaking minute so as not to seem in a hurry to leave. Looking around, I casually picked up my purse and swung my jacket over my shoulder. As soon as I was out the door of the office, I broke into a power walk.

Ahhh, there it was. The bus just seemed to be waiting for me. I boarded, paid the fare, and sat back in the seat. In no time at all, I was at home. With a sigh of relief, I changed into my sweats. With a cup of tea and my handy remote, I settled into a comfortable position on the couch and turned on my tv. It was a sign, my favorite show was on. A few minutes of relaxation passed before I realized it: I drove to work that day.
