Mysteries by filfil

I was watching CSI:Miami the other day and was astonished at how fast they get clues and solve mysteries. Literally, before the theme song began, they had found so many clues it was funny. It reminded me of a story a teacher of mine included on a final exam. This is the story:

In five minutes a murder takes place and a detective is called. As soon as he gets there he finds a clue. The clue is a piece of hair on the cadaver. He says." Whoever lost a hair is the murderer." For the nexr few days, the detective is on the lookour for anyone missing a single hair from their head. Finally he sees a man wearing a hat boarding a boat.
“You are the murderer! Take off your hat and I’ll prove it.” The man does and they see that he is bald.
“See? You have not just committed one murder, bur a million!”

It was a pretty bad story, but a funny one. It is true though. Some mysteries are so farfetched.

Really funny story. I don’t really like reading mystery stories too often but I do like watching them. I’ve never seen CSI though. What were you supposed to do with the story on your exam?

We were supposed to choose the word that described the detective at the end. It was between “clever” and “ridiculous” which was really tough!
I love mysteries! You should read books by Mary Higgins Clark. they are awesome!
