Pinocchio (pronounced [piˈnɔkːjo] in Italian) is a fictional character that first appeared in 1883, in The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi.
Carved from a piece of pine by a woodcarver named Geppetto in a small Italian village, he was created as a wooden puppet, but dreamt of becoming a real boy. The name Pinocchio is a Tuscan word meaning “pine nut”.
Pinocchio is known for having a long nose that becomes longer when he is under stress (first half-dozen chapters), especially while telling a LIE.

what can I say, we all lie at one point or another – whoever says, they never lie – lied already.
Think about it – if you told your boss what you really think of him/ her would you still have a job? ….hehe

I’m a guilty party as well – most of the time I lie to ‘protect’ something …a person, a feeling…..a bad situation – and when I do lie, usually the main reason is people don’t take “NO” for an answer, so you have to lie in order for them to leave you alone, pass their ‘games & tricks’. ;)
