This is an image taken on a recent shoot I did with a beginner model, she improved a lot throughout the shoot with some instruction and was overall just a huge pleasure to work with. Her skin was amazing and needed practically no retouching whatsoever and I think this would have to be one of my favourite images so far.

My lighting set up was pretty simple, I had a 7’ silver umbrella as the key light to camera right with the center of the light just above her eye level… I then had two lights behind her on each side with white shoot through umbrellas facing each other so they would create a hair/rim light but also lighten up the background and ensure a shadowless background.
