I’m so glad I didn’t miss her!

Her face, that putrid shade of green’s
the scariest sight that I have seen,
all this spooky Haloween!

The way she rides that broomstick, my!
It really looks like she can fly
right up to the starry sky!

Above the trees, it seemed she rose
with that great wart upon her nose!
A fake one stuck on, I suppose.

I love the way she made it glow!
Do be sure to let her know
Cos I’m afraid I have to go."

The child spoke to me in a whisper.
