This Balinese dancer is ‘vogueing’ the different scenes from a traditional tale. While she keeps her head and feet in position, her dresses are following the swift movements of her body in slow motion.
I´m still left intrigued by the magic combination of the ´Static´ and the ´Dynamic´ in her performance!

Thx – it was the most difficult image I took so far – difficult (no) lighting, working with a tripod was too slow. I only had 3 opportunities like this in the entire performance. The camera had to work hard to focus properly and record the image at high iso! At poster size the motion blur comes out very clear!
