This is the now defunct Coonawarra train station … i.e. the village of Coonawarra in the middle of the famous wine region of the same name in South Australia. I must share credit for this impromptu frame with my hubby, who’s idea it was and who graciously posed for the shot …
I took this while travelling between Melbourne and Adelaide in late December 2008 … we were down the road at the Wynns winery (tasting wine of course) and saw pictures of the station. We were pointed in the direction (it’s only about 1 km off the main highway) and I tried a few different angles.
(Taken with my NEW Nikon D90 DSLR – Tamron 17-50mm 2.8. UPDATED PIC: Minor edits with levels and curves).
