I was mucking around with the settings of my new DSLR (Nikon D90 – Tamron 17-50mm 2.8) to see how to set it to photograph in B&W, and didn’t frame this shot, just took it without thought (of hubby). So, no touch ups for this image, it’s as shot!

We’re sitting at the The Lighthouse Cafe at the Cape Nelson lighthouse (near Portland in Victoria) on our road trip from Melbourne to Darwin via the Great Ocean Road and the red centre.

    When I pressed the trigger I wasn’t planning on keeping the image, then I saw it in the camera and thought ‘I really like that!’. Very spontaneous.
