Oilbar on board 40 × 60cm

First in a series based on the area where I live, Broughton, which is a vibrant community just outside the city centre filled with cafes, bars, cool shops and restaurants.

This particular painting was a peice for a charity auction in my local pub, done to benefit a girl who used to work in one of the street’s many cafes who was diagnosed with cancer. Happily, it got lots of bids and finally sold for £750.

Wonderful work – so vibrant and inviting. I had a friend who used to live in a flat in at the top of a flat like that in Broughton Place, many years ago.
Congratulations on the sale and for such a good cause. Hugs, Kasia

Vibrant, indeed. It’s absolutely wonderful, Fee, and really different for you. How fantastic that it’s going to help someone get through probably the most trying time of their life.

Fee what a vivid scenery, I like it and the helping idea behind it too. Hope she’ll get healthy again and the person that bought your painting will be very lucky with it.
My best wishes to you Fee.
