Fee Dickson trained in architecture at Edinburgh College of Art, and has alternated between art and architecture throughout her career. With jobs in architecture scarce right now, she is currently focusing full time on painting.
She begun her artistic career producing watercolours to commission as a student, and has since gone on to practice in a variety of media. She has shown in small local shows in France, where she lived for four years, and has sold work in Hong Kong, Australia, France and the UK.
Her work is often concerned with capturing an essence of light – reflected in water, caught in twilight or dusk, playing off buildings.

I’m sure I’m not the only Redbubble artist to have shed a tear for the passing of Bernard. I’ve written a bit about him in my blog here . I’ll miss him.
A lot of my work is going in to the christmas show at Joseph Pearce’s in Edinburgh..more info on the blog here.
The red bubble 3 day offer is working out very well – used it as an excuse to have a bit of a sale (15% of all sea pictures and calenders), and sold three calenders, and one larged framed print yesterday. Yay! if only every day could be like that. Aso started updating my blog a little more often again for anyone that’s interested ..
Blog entry today is on Painting presents for people – the good and the bad ;) / In other news, finally back in Scotland, and will hopefully have a bit more time both for painting and for commenting on redbubble. It’s nice to be home :) / I sold a couple of laminated prints last week of Winter trees II and Fidra – many thanks to the buyer!
