STS-128 Rollout - Space Shuttle Discovery by

STS-128 made the journey from the VAB to Launch Complex 39A on August 4, 2009. It was one of the slower trips the shuttle has ever made to the pad because of the bad weather.

Of course, the bad weather gave us a wonderful backdrop for photography :-)

STS-128 was the 30th U.S. mission to the International Space Station. The flight delivered equipment and supplies along with the Leonardo Module.

Enjoy

    Brilliant capture!!

  • Thanks Ken. That was one of those miserable trips for the move crew, it took them about 13 hours because of all the rain and the extra soggy crawler way. I was thrilled for the drama the sky added! :-)
